The Maryland Marriage Alliance, a group dedicated to opposing gay marriage had a League of the South speaker speak to them.

I think this post is good to let people know that neo-Confederate groups are anti-gay.

Peroutka was a featured speaker at the League of the South’s national conference this past July, as he was in 2004, 2008, and 2010. According to the SPLC, the League of the South "believes the 'godly' nation it wants to form should be run by an 'Anglo-Celtic' (read: white) elite that would establish a Christian theocratic state and politically dominate blacks and other minorities." The organization says that its relentless pursuit of white supremacy is "healthy and Biblical."Unfortunately there are gays and Lesbians who identify with the Lost Cause and the Confederacy. Having met them I doubt even this will change their attitudes. They will say that the League of the South is misusing Confederate heritage. However, for everyone else it will alert them to the pernicious nature of so-called Confederate heritage.
